BEEF BALL SOUP Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup seasoned croutons
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • salt and pepper
  • soup base:
  • 2 ( 10 ounce ) cans chicken broth
  • 2 (14 ½ ounce ) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 cups peeled cubed potatoes

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Combine beef balls ingredients.
  2.  Shape into 1 inch balls.
  3. Saute for 10 minutes, drain fat and place in crock pot.
  4. Add soup base ingredients.
  5. Cook on high for 1 hour, then reduce to medium and cook for 4 – 5 hours.
