Dixie Bar – B – Que Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 12 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp dry mustard
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup celery, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 to ½ pounds cooked, shredded pork
  • 4 -6 sandwich buns

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients and pepper, mixing well. Spread mixture evenly over bread. Layer with shredded pork and onion.
