Fish Fillet with Sweet and Sour Sauce Recipe

Fish Fillet with Sweet and Sour Sauce Recipe

This Chinese dish is one that never fails to satisfy even the most jaded palate—the contrast of sweet pineapple juice with the sour punch of vinegar comes together to create a sauce that is perfect with virtually any meat, and serving it with fish fillet is a healthier option that’s still sure to be a tasty dish. This recipe uses lapu-lapu—a firm, white-fleshed fish that will hold its own against even the strongest sauces—and coats it in crunchy Japanese breadcrumbs, which will allow it to become crisp without absorbing a lot of grease.

Fish fillet with sweet and sour sauce is an easy recipe to prepare in the kitchen, but it still looks impressive and pleases diners of all ages. You can add pineapple chunks or bell pepper slices for more texture and to encourage kids to eat more fruits and vegetables—but with a viand this good, it won’t take much persuading!
