Ginataang Hito (Hito with Coconut Milk) Recipe
  • 2 medium-sized hito, cleaned well and cut into smaller pieces.
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup sliced onion
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped oil for sautéing.
  • Seasonings:
  • Salt to taste
  1. In a frying pan, sauté garlic.
  2. When garlic turns brown, add onion.
  3. When onions are transparent, add coconut milk and allow to boil.
  4. Add fish and salt, then cover the skillet.
  5. Simmer until coconut milk becomes greasy.
