Ginisang Sigarilyas (Sauteed Winged Beans) Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 15 pcs winged bean, ends trimmed and sliced diagonally
  • 1/2 cup slices of pork
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tomato, quartered
  • salt/fish sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp cooking oil

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a pan, heat oil and saute garlic, onion and tomato.
  2. Add pork slices and cook until lightly browned. Stir in water
  3. and fish sauce. Simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Add winged bean or sigarilyas. Cook until tender.
  5. Season with salt/fish sauce.
  6. Serve.
