Kaldereta In Crockpot Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo beef, cut into serving pieces
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 whole kernel black pepper, cracked
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 200 grams tomato sauce
  • 1 small can of liver spread
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 piece laurel leaf
  • 1 piece large bell pepper
  • 2 pieces hot chili pepper
  • 1 piece medium carrot, cubed
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Marinate beef cubes in vinegar garlic, black pepper , and salt for at least 2 hours.
  2.  Brown marinated beef cubes.
  3. Mix the rest of the ingredients with beef in crockpot and cook slowly for 6 hours or until beef is very tender.
  4. Sauce should be thick but not dry.
