Clams With Ginger (Ginisang Halaan) Recipe


  • 1/2 kilo clams
  • 2 thumb size of ginger (crushed)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 1 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Heat oil in a wok. Saute onion and garlic then add ginger.
  2. Add clams and water then cover.
  3. Cook for 5-8 minutes.
  4. Serve hot in a bowl.
