Crispy Hito Recipe


  • 3 to 4 pcs. Large hito ( catfish )
  • 2 tbsps. Ground pepper
  • ½ cup flour
  • Cooking oil for deep – frying

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Clean the hito well and dredge in flour.
  2. Season with pepper.
  3. Deep – fry until crispy. Serve immediately.
  4. Note: Hito is already fatty and may need less cooking oil when deep – fried. Use judgment for the right  amount of cooking oil to use.
