Ingredients
  • 1 kg chicken leg and thigh
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp magic sarap/ seasoning granules
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup fish sauce
  • 5 pcs calamansi (squeeze)
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 pc egg
  • 1 big pack breading mix
  • 2 cups flour
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • Oil for frying
Instructions
  1. Wash and cut the chicken. Let it drain
  2. Marinate the chicken with salt,pepper, seasoning granules, paprika, fish sauce and calamansi. Mix well
  3. Refrigerate for 3 hours or more.
  4. In another bowl mix the breading mix, egg, cornstarch, water and ¼ cup flour. Mix well and set aside.
  5. In another bowl mix the remaining flour and bread mix. Mix it well
  6. Coat the marinated chicken into batter mixture then dredge into flour mixture .
  7. Heat the pan with oil and fry the breaded chicken until crispy and golden brown. Strained excess oil
  8. Served with your favorite gravy. Enjoy
