Grilled Beef With Bud Of Japanese Pepper Recipe


  • 8 slices boneless beef round roast
  • Prickly – ash leaves
  • 8 rape blossoms
  • Light color soy sauce
  • Japanese mustard
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 ½ tbsp mirin
  • 4 tbsp sake
  • Prickly – ash leaves

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Chop prickly – ash leaves then divide into halves.
  2. Mix ingredients for sauce, add beef, and then let it sit.
  3.  Grill beef quickly and sprinkle with remaining leaves.
  4. Boil water in pot, add rape blossoms, then soak in cold water and squeeze out.
  5.  Blend light color soy sauce and Japanese mustard then add rape blossoms and toss.
  6. Cut beef into bite – size pieces then garnish.
