Non-Oven-Baked Sushi Recipe

Let’s begin! All of the ingredients we’ll be using are easily available in nearby grocery stores and local markets, so all you need to do is sit back, relax, and learn a new blockbuster recipe that we’ll surely impress your family and friends. The cooking and preparation procedures are also beginner-friendly so don’t be afraid to try!

To start, the ingredients we’ll need are Cooked Japanese Rice, Apple Cider Vinegar, Sugar, Eggs, Crabsticks, Potato Chips, Cheese, Hot Sauce, Mayonnaise, Salt, Pepper, Water, Oil, and of course, Nori or Seaweed Wrappers. These wrappers are very important because they represent the unique identity of Sushi and Maki delicacies. 

So, shall we begin? Alright, let’s start by making a simple scrambled egg. Just beat the eggs, season it with salt and pepper, and then proceed to cook it nicely in a heated pan with oil. After that, we should now prepare the sauce. In a clean bowl, combine the shredded crab sticks, grated cheese, and mayonnaise. You can also add some hot sauce and crushed potato chips to it for additional flavor! In another bowl, mix the cooked Japanese rice together with sugar and vinegar. Lastly, combine the crushed potato chips and shredded nori wrapper in a separate container. These will provide an additional layer of texture to our Sushi. 

Now it’s all complete! We have our scrambled egg, crab sticks sauce, Japanese rice, and crushed potato chips with shredded nori. Once we’ve prepared all of these, it’s now time to combine all of them for the final product. Place a wax paper on a round pan and carefully mold the rice mixture into shape. Add the scrambled egg, crab sticks sauce, grated cheese, mayonnaise, and some crushed potato chips. Simply preheat the pan for 10 minutes and pan-bake the mixture for about 25 minutes. 

And voila! There’s our Non-Oven-Baked Sushi Recipe. To serve, simply get a spoonful of the baked sushi and wrap it with a nori wrapper. Yum! It’s perfect for parties, sleepovers, game nights, and almost every fun gathering. Just pair it with some ice-cold beer and you’re good to go!

  • 500 grams Japanese Rice Cooked
  • 1 pack Nori Sheets/Seaweed Wrapper
  • 2 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar or any vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper
  • 10-15 cps. Crabstick
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. Hot Sauce
  • Any kind of potato chips.
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • Water for Cooking of rice
  • Oil for scrambled egg


  1. Beat the egg with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the pan with oil and scramble the beaten egg. Let it cool
  3. Shredded the crab stick and mix with mayonnaise and grated cheese.
  4. In a clean bowl mix cooked rice, sugar and vinegar. Set aside
  5. Crush the potato chips in a bowl with shredded nori wrapper.
  6. Add the hot sauce and some crushed potato chips into crab stick mixture.
  7. In a round pan with wax paper mold the rice mixture, add the scrambled egg, add the crab stick mixture, top with grated cheese, mayonnaise and crush potato chips.
  8. Preheat the pan with a wire stand for 10 minutes and bake the sushi in a round pan for 25 minutes.
  9. To serve, take a spoon of baked sushi and wrap with nori wrapper. Enjoy.
