Spicy Salted Egg and Cucumber Salad

This is a simple and easy-to-follow recipe given that it’s a salad. So, you are guaranteed that all of the ingredients we’ll be using for our Spicy Salted Egg and Cucumber Salad are available at the local market and grocery store. Alright, are you ready? Let’s begin! 

For the ingredients, we’ll need a cucumber, garlic, red onion, lime juice, coriander leaves, sugar, salted eggs, and to add a kick of spice, red chilis! Keep in mind that these are just the main ingredients, you’re always free to be creative and add whatever ingredient you’d like to make your salad better. After all, it’s your salad!

To begin, simply prepare all of the necessary ingredients. You have to peel the shell off of the salted eggs and thoroughly wash every vegetable we’ll be using. Then, cut the salted eggs into wedges and arrange them on the serving plate. Next up, slice the cucumber into nice bite sizes as well as the red onion and chili. After that, just sprinkle the cucumber, red onion, chili, garlic, and coriander leaves onto the plate with the salted egg. 

Finally, simply season the salad with lime juice and sugar then mix up all ingredients well to incorporate all of the flavors. And voila! Red Salted Egg Salad
 
Ingredients
  • 4 Salted Eggs
  • 1 small sized Cucumber
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 Red Onion thinly sliced (or 1 of Onion)
  • 1 pc of Red Chili thinly sliced (de-seeded is optional)
  • 3 Tablespoons of Lime Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons of Coriander leaves chopped
  • A pinch of Sugar Optional
Instructions
  1. Cut the salted eggs into wedges
  2. Place them in the serving plate
  3. Sprinkle with sliced Cucumber, slice onion ,slice chili , garlic and coriander leaves
  4. Season with lime juice and sugar. Mix well.
  5. Best Serve with rice and Tapa or Tocino. Enjoy
