To start, the ingredients we’ll need for our Pancit Bihon Guisado with Lechon Kawali Recipe are cabbage, onions, garlic, carrot, Baguio beans, salt, pepper, seasoning granules, soy sauce, water, oil, pork belly, pork liver, and Super Q Bihon Rice Noodles. For our toppings, prepare some fried garlic, spring onion, calamansi, and our main add-on, Lechon Kawali! All of these toppings are only optional but if you really want to make your Pancit Bihon Guisado extra special, then you better make sure to include all of them in your list of ingredients!

Now that we’re all set, let’s begin! The first thing that we have to do is to heat up the pan and pour some oil for cooking. Then, sautè the chopped garlic and sliced onion until they become nicely brown and aromatic. Next, add the pork liver and pork belly then keep on sautèing everything until the pork liver is slightly cooked. After that, you can now season the mix with soy sauce then stir everything so it becomes evenly coated. Then, add the vegetables like carrots, Baguio beans, cabbage, and just a small amount of water to cook. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and seasoning granules. Stir everything up then let the ingredients cook for about 2 minutes.

After 2 minutes, you can now remove some of the vegetables before adding more water and the Super Q Bihon Rice Noodles so they won’t get overcooked. Once you’ve added the rice noodles and some water, make sure to add more soy sauce until your desired balance of flavors is achieved. Keep on stirring every now and then so the noodles become evenly cooked, okay? Once the noodles are nearly cooked, you can now add the half-cooked vegetables and half of the toppings including the fried garlic, spring onions, and more oil if needed at the last minute. Finally, once the Pancit Bihon Guisado is cooked, we can now add the remaining toppings of fried garlic, spring onions, and especially the Lechon Kawali! Oh, and don’t forget to add some sliced calamansi on the sides before serving for the best taste!
