This one’s special! But don’t worry, all of the ingredients we’ll use for this Special Puto with Leche Flan Recipe can be easily found on the local market or grocery store. Moreover, the procedures are also easy to follow so I’m sure that you’ll be able to catch up quickly. Alright, are you ready? Let’s begin!

To start, the ingredients we’ll need for the Special Puto are flour, sugar, baking powder, eggs, powdered milk, water, melted butter, vanilla, salt, and the molding cups. For the special toppings, we’ll be needing salted eggs and cheese. Now, to make the Leche Flan, the ingredients we need are eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla, and calamansi juice.

First, we’ll be preparing the Leche Flan mixture. To do that, simply combine the eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla, and calamansi juice in one clean bowl. Make sure to mix them all well to incorporate them with each other. Then, pour the mixture through a strainer to make sure that our Leche Flan is rich and fine. After doing that, set the mixture aside in the meantime.

Now, we’ll be doing the Special Puto mixture. Simply combine the flour, sugar, powdered milk, salt, and baking powder in a clean bowl then mix well. After that, you now need to add the eggs and melted butter. Then, gradually add water while mixing until the desired consistency is reached. Finally, you now have to add the vanilla and keep on mixing until all of the ingredients are well combined. Like the Leche Flan mixture, you also need to pour the Special Puto mixture through a strainer to make sure that everything is fine and rich.

Alright! Now that both of our mixtures are already prepared, it’s time to cook! We’ll cook the Leche Flan first, so pour the mixture onto the molder until it’s half-filled. Then, simply steam the Leche Flan for about 10 minutes. Once that’s done, you now have to fill up the other half of the molder with the Special Puto mixture. Again, steam them together for another 10 minutes. Once you’ve checked that the Puto Flan is already cooked, carefully take it away from the steamer and let it cool for a while. Finally, you can now serve and enjoy!

That’s it! Just like that, you’ve successfully made your own Special Puto with Leche Flan at home! Easy, right? I’m sure that everybody will love your newfound recipe.
