Tanglad Iced Tea Recipe

All of us wanted to intake what’s good and helpful to our body,now try this healthy “Iced Tea”…the “Tanglad Iced Tea“.

Don’t you know that “Tanglad”,also known as “Lemongrass”,has a big help in terms of taking care of our body? It helps us to detoxify our liver,kidney,pancreas,bladder and our digestive tract as well.

It’s also the same thing in making some other tea but the difference is that it’s very fresh and natural and another thing is that you’ll be sure that it’s ean because you’re the one who made it. Just bruise the Tanglad or Lemongrass stalks (which is cut into pieces) and put it in a teapot. Pour in about four cups of water (or any amount of water you want) bring it to the boil,then simmer for a few minutes. Afterwards,allow it to be cooled. Then your “Tanglad Iced Tea” is now ready to drink!

Ingredients:

  • 3 stalks lemongrass, white part only
  • 1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced
  • 6 cups water
  • 1/3 cup palm sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk (optional)
  • 4 teabags
  • Crushed ice

Cooking Instructions:

  1. In a pot, heat water and teabags. Add the lemongrass, ginger and palm sugar.
  2. Simmer for 8-10 minutes.
  3. Cool and pour into glasses. Add ice and milk if desired. Garnish with lemongrass as stirrer.
