Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken leg and thigh
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp magic sarap/ seasoning granules
- 1 tsp pepper
- ¼ cup fish sauce
- 5 pcs calamansi (squeeze)
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- 1 pc egg
- 1 big pack breading mix
- 2 cups flour
- ¼ cup cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Wash and cut the chicken. Let it drain
- Marinate the chicken with salt,pepper, seasoning granules, paprika, fish sauce and calamansi. Mix well
- Refrigerate for 3 hours or more.
- In another bowl mix the breading mix, egg, cornstarch, water and ¼ cup flour. Mix well and set aside.
- In another bowl mix the remaining flour and bread mix. Mix it well
- Coat the marinated chicken into batter mixture then dredge into flour mixture .
- Heat the pan with oil and fry the breaded chicken until crispy and golden brown. Strained excess oil
- Served with your favorite gravy. Enjoy
